My wife, Mrs. Almost American, has been dutifully reading over my shoulder, critiquing my writing and providing an extra set of eyes to assess my theme, layout and design choices (all in addition to doing the artwork for my header image and blog badge).  She now, however, tires of being a bystander to my blog and has decided to take the leap into blogging herself – albeit on my blog!

So, without further ado I’d like to introduce Mrs. Almost American.

Mrs. Almost American is a wife, mother, perpetual worrier and a Graphic Artist. She’s new to blogging, but not new to working online through Cafepress.com and Printfection.com. In the past she’s had a number of jobs ranging from designing corporate ID packages to screen printing T-Shirts. Now, however she’s focused on maintaining a home, entertaining Z and expanding her endeavors online through the development of her own website.

I first met Mrs. Almost American (actually I first met Mrs. Almost American’s mother) on September 25, 1999 when I was enlisted to help move the “girl next door’s” furniture.  Since then she’s followed me around a few different counties before finally pursuing me to ask her to “Marry Me”.  That was nine years ago.  Since then she’s been dragged from home to home and state to state as I’ve pursued my career.

When it comes to blogging Mrs. Almost American is going to focus the interesting and quirky experience her and Z have while I’m stuck at work. Look out for her first post coming soon…
