A privacy policy on a blog… huh?
Okay, so not every blog needs a privacy policy, but its certainly something that bears some consideration…. <— those periods are my thought process coming to a screeching halt.
Let’s try that again. After thinking about it, while writing that sentence, pretty much every blog needs to address privacy and describe to its users/viewers how its going to keep their information private i.e., through an explanation provided in a Privacy Policy.
“Z pick up your blocks!’ - ”Why Daddy?”
“Z eat your dinner!” - ”Why Mummy?”
“Z hold my hand as we cross the street.” - ”Why, why why?”
Well, while I’ve been slacking off this last week my father has been busy on his blog over a C&A’s Wild Images.
I’ll blame my absence from blogging on a reported case of Whooping Cough (Pertussis) in the Office. It a poor excuse, but since I’d been feeling under the weather last week I wanted to take every opportunity Z afforded me to rest. I eventually dragged myself to test out my new Doctor but that’s a whole other post. I did get some antibiotics and a couple of injections just in case the reported Pertussis turn out to be an actual case – I don’t need to bring anything highly infectious home to Mrs Almost American and Z. Turns out it wasn’t Whooping Cough at all and I am unfortunately have is a sinus infection! Continue reading »
Finally I’ve gotten through the worst of my cold and my sinuses are starting to clear up. I wish I could say the same for Mrs Almost American, who now seems to be going into the worst of it. Luckily Z has escaped this round of illness – so far! Since I’ve got to feeling better I thought I’d write a little more than I have the past two nights, and so I wish to talk about pub quizzes. Sausages displayed on a British Market Stall
America is often referred to as a melting pot of cultures. As such, you’d expect there to be a full array of culturally specific items freely available everywhere. This might be true for some items, but considering that many of the original colonists originated from the United Kingdom, I want to know where all the “Bangers” - British sausages, are?
Sure America has a huge array of sausages, originating from all parts of Europe, but the country is apparently devoid of my British favorites. Continue reading »
