Well, while I’ve been slacking off this last week my father has been busy on his blog over a C&A’s Wild Images.

I’ll blame my absence from blogging on a reported case of Whooping Cough (Pertussis) in the Office. It a poor excuse, but since I’d been feeling under the weather last week I wanted to take every opportunity Z afforded me to rest.  I eventually dragged myself to test out my new Doctor but that’s a whole other post.  I did get some antibiotics and a couple of injections just in case the reported Pertussis turn out to be an actual case – I don’t need to bring anything highly infectious home to Mrs Almost American and Z.  Turns out it wasn’t Whooping Cough at all and I am unfortunately have is a sinus infection! As I talked briefly about a few posts back, a blog badge is a neat little graphic that you make available to other bloggers (and webmasters) so they can post it as a cool link to your blog on their own web pages.

Why would they do post this? Well, hopefully you’ve got some well written, exciting content, and a history of producing such content, that a fellow blogger/webmaster feels worthy of sharing not only a link or reference to a specific post, but one to your blog in its entirety.

There are definitely ‘perks’ when you enter into a relationship with someone, and no I’m not talking about those perks. For me it’s the fact that I married a Graphic Artist. This gives me unfettered access to advice, design critique and raw creative talent whenever I need it –  as such, Almost American has a new header image:-
