Mrs. Almost American is a wife, mother, perpetual worrier and a Graphic Artist. She's new to blogging, but not new to working online through Cafepress.com and Printfection.com. In the past she's had a number of jobs ranging from designing corporate ID packages to screen printing T-Shirts. Now, however she's focused on maintaining a home, entertaining Z and expanding her endeavors online through the development of her own website.

Rescued Wabbit!

Forget Go, Diego Go! - Nickelodeon’s wildlife rescuing super kid. Z’s out in the pouring rain (yes rain in Bakersfield) rescuing domesticated Rabbits – well rabbit, just one.

On Monday night it pour’d down with much needed rain. When I say poured, I mean, fell in bucket loads, flooded our patio and ran off the roof like Yosemite Falls. It was the rain coming off the roof that made me decide to open the front door and checkout just how heavy the rainfall was. To my amazement, there, huddling under a plant and stranded on a small island of high ground between two Class 1.5 rainfall rapids was a half drowned brown and white rabbit. Continue reading »
